From your PASSION to ours

Perform timely and accurate evaluations of raw materials, products, processes, and facilities to support the efficient manufacturing and shipment of quality products, reporting to the Lab Supervisor.

Shift

3rd Shift - Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6:30am

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all aspects of food safety and quality are maintained per plant and department procedures.
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate samples at various production stages, approving them for use based on test results.
  • Hold and handle products based on specifications and knowledge.
  • Prepare and add sensitive ingredients during production, including culture, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Monitor and verify sanitation, start-up, and performance of production equipment.
  • Assess the environment using test equipment, reporting findings regularly to the operations team.
  • Conduct audits on Good Manufacturing Practices across the plant.
  • Prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Communicate daily with operations staff regarding issues and evaluation results.
  • Maintain hygiene standards at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Verify compliance and alert supervisors of deviations from product specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Life or Food Sciences or two years of related experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED with 3-6 months of related training/experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely.
  • Proficiency in mathematics, especially algebra.
  • Computer skills required; knowledge of IBM Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office suite is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures meticulously and work under pressure.
  • Organized, clean, and flexible with work schedules, including weekends and overtime.
  • Comfortable working in variable temperature environments and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to change.
