3rd shift Maintenance Technician ($24.61 - $31.32/hr.)

Job Overview

Responsible for the upkeep of industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot issues on electronically controlled equipment used in a metal fabrication environment such as lasers, brake presses, robots, etc.
  2. Interface with remote service support for problem solving and equipment repairs.
  3. Perform repair tasks on industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems safely and efficiently, implementing corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
  4. Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating safe working habits and sound decision-making skills.
  5. Work with 3-phase electrical systems up to 480VAC.
  6. Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, L.O.T.O., Confined Space, etc.
Qualifications
  1. Good oral and written communication skills, capable of utilizing remote support from equipment suppliers and team members.
  2. Strong technical problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment, interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  3. Experience with PLC and CNC controlled equipment is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of safe use of test equipment and hand tools; certification to operate forklifts and aerial work platforms.
  5. 3-5 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Maintenance; electrical education is a plus.
