Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Environmental Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing and implementing environmental programs, and driving continuous improvement in sustainability and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with spill cleanups
• Weakly pump outs of machines
• Maintain clean work environment
• Coordinate waste management practices, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal.
• Minor pump repairs.
• Maintain wash bays/pumps
• Ability to occasionally enter confined spaces.

Qualifications:

• High school degree.
• 1-2 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in both office and manufacturing plant environments. Must be able to occasionally wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in outdoor or industrial settings. This position works on a rotating schedule; hours can vary from 36 to 48 hours a week including working every other weekend.
