Job description

H2E Incorporated is looking to hire an Environmental Technician(s) in our Fort Worth, TX office. We are excited to find a candidate(s) that will help us continue to grow our environmental engineering/consulting services throughout the southern United States. As a growing environmental engineering/consulting company, we are looking for individuals interested in working on a wide variety of projects.

The primary duties include assisting more senior staff with leak detection and repair (LDAR), spill prevention and countermeasure control (SPCC) compliance, environmental soil and water sampling, and environmental site assessments (ESA)/due diligence for our oil and gas production clients in TX, OK, LA, NM, ND, SD, MT, WY, UT, and CO.

The position will primarily involve field work on oil and gas sites with supplemental office work in support of our client services. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, have an attention for details, and be committed to contributing to a safe working environment. Applicants must be physically able to walk across varied environments and be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds. A clean driving record, experience operating four-wheel drive vehicles in all weather conditions, and comfort conducting field work in all seasons are required. The position may require 3 to 4 weeks of travel per month (during the work week only).

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a science field;
  2. 0 to 2 years’ experience in environmental engineering/consulting;
  3. Pass pre-employment and random drug tests;
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
