Job summary
Stantec is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Editor to contribute to our Document Support team housed within the Environmental Services division. The successful candidate will edit documents such as technical reports, publications, and proposals for grammar, clarity and comprehension, appropriate style, consistent voice, and acronym and reference usage.
Additionally, the successful candidate will format deliverables with consistently applied Word styles to meet company
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field with editorial experience.
- Familiarity with US accessibility compliance and tools like CommonLook.
- Strong command of English grammar and style guides (Chicago, APA).
Responsibilities
- Edit reports, publications, proposals for grammar and clarity.
- Format documents using consistent Word styles and templates.
- Remediate PDFs for Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Support proposals and business development deliverables.
- Provide editing support to project managers for consistency.
