Job summary

Stantec seeks a meticulous Technical Editor to join our Environmental Services Document Support team. You will edit technical reports, proposals, and publications for grammar, clarity, and style, and format deliverables using Word styles to meet standards and client guidelines.

You’ll remediate PDFs for Section 508 accessibility using CommonLook and provide editing support to project managers, ensuring consistency across programs and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with writing/editing focus and 3+ years editorial experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. accessibility policies; willingness to learn CommonLook.

Responsibilities

• Edit reports, publications, proposals, and correspondence for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
• Format deliverables using Word styles to meet standards and client guidelines.
• Remediate PDFs for Section 508 accessibility using CommonLook.
• Provide technical editing support to project managers and ensure consistency across programs.
