Black Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks an Environmental Specialist to join our Guam office. You will apply environmental engineering principles to modify, test and operate equipment for pollution prevention, site remediation and waste treatment, under the Environmental Manager’s direction.

Qualifications

High school diploma required with related on-the-job training.
Experience in erosion control or natural resources is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
Ability to work full-time with flexible hours, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite environmental tasks and apply engineering principles to prevention and remediation.
Install, inspect/monitor, and repair environmental controls such as silt fences and sandbags.
Document performance of erosion/sediment control measures and weigh waste as required.
Study project reports and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Maintain project logs and generate clear reports and summaries.
