Job summary

Wind Creek Bethlehem is seeking a Shift Manager for Environmental Services to oversee the Public Areas and Casino on an assigned shift. You will supervise Supervisors and Specialists, ensure high cleanliness standards, and coordinate staffing and schedules.

The role requires supervisory janitorial experience, strong guest-relations training, and adherence to company policies and PA Gaming regulations. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of janitorial services supervisory experience.
• Two years’ experience in guest relations training.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling requirements.
• Ability to access all areas of the property.
• Must qualify for, apply for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of the assigned shift and supervise staff.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness for all areas including casino, public areas, back of house, garage, and outside.
• Develop effective staffing schedules.
• Interview, hire, discipline, and assist with terminations.
• Track attendance and coordinate breaks; communicate changes.
• Complete accurate and timely shift reports.
• Seek ways to improve quality and guest satisfaction; address guest complaints.
• Enforce policies and coordinate department activities with other departments; liaison with other teams.
• Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met; provide guidance and expertise.
