Job summary

Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to support housekeeping and administrative tasks under the ES department. The role supervises in the absence of the supervisor, coordinates daily tasks, and helps ensure a clean, safe environment across departments.

Minimum one year of related experience is required. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and three years of hospital experience, with bilingual abilities valued.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of related experience preferred in a hospital setting; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes weekly projects as designated by the supervisor and coordinates shift tasks.
• Ensures employees are properly equipped and supplied to complete tasks.
• Follows infection control, chemical control, hazardous waste disposal and safety procedures.
