Job summary

Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services professional to help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and support daily housekeeping and administrative activities. The role includes coordinating tasks, inspecting rooms, and ensuring adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

The position is located at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA, with 40 hours per week from 3pm to 11:30pm, including every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of related experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages weekly projects and coordinates shift tasks.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available for tasks.
• Follows infection control, chemical control, and safety procedures.
• Performs facility rounds and bed tracking.
• Allocates resources to cover shifts and inspect quality.
