Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites applicants to join an Environmental Services Manager in Training program. You will learn to manage your own account and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility through a 12-week paid program with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will develop leadership and operational skills while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and health regulations within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to use computer systems for recordkeeping.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
