Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn to manage accounts and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a long-term care facility.

The 12-week program combines hands-on training with computer-based instruction to develop leadership in environmental services. Join our team to gain experience in policy compliance, staff scheduling, and operations oversight in a healthcare environment, with a path to future facility management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
