Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn how to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

The 12-week paid program combines hands-on and computer-based training to develop environmental services leadership. The role offers opportunities to grow into facility management with a focus on regulatory compliance and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to use computer to maintain records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
