Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. The 12-week paid program will develop you to manage environmental services with hands-on and computer-based training.

The role emphasizes learning to manage an account, ensuring policy compliance, staff scheduling, and effective communication with administrators and staff. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must maintain records and complete reports as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and state/federal requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
