Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites you to join its Environmental Services Manager in Training program, a structured, paid 12-week track that teaches you to manage housekeeping, laundry and floor care at a long-term care facility.

You will gain hands-on and computer-based training, learn how to supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and prepare to lead on-site environmental services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
