Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. The 12-week, paid program combines hands-on supervision of housekeeping, laundry, and floor care with computer-based training.

This paid training will develop you to manage environmental services within a healthcare setting, preparing you to oversee staff and operations upon completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and able to communicate with staff and leadership.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
