Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is recruiting an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn hands-on and computer-based management of housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

The 12-week paid program develops you to supervise staff, maintain records, and assure compliance with policies and state/federal requirements, with mentorship and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain records and complete reports using web-based reporting.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
