Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join as an Environmental Services Manager in Training. This 12-week paid program will develop you to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility, with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will learn to ensure policy and regulatory compliance, supervise staff, and maintain records while coordinating with facility leadership to deliver clean, safe environments for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
