Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join as Environmental Services Manager in Training, a 12-week paid program to learn how to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

You will gain hands-on and computer-based training, develop leadership skills, and prepare to manage environmental services in healthcare settings, with mentorship and clear milestones along the way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills for records and reports, including web-based reporting.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
