Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join as an Environmental Services Manager in Training. In this paid 12‑week program, you will learn to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations in a long‑term care facility, with hands‑on and computer based training.

Successful candidates will develop leadership and compliance skills, with a path to managing environmental services in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills for records and reports.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
