Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking candidates for an Environmental Services Manager in Training. This 12-week paid program will teach you to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility, with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will learn to supervise staff, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and maintain essential records while developing leadership, budgeting, and quality assurance skills to support residents and facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computer.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
