Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites applicants to join an Environmental Services Manager in Training program. Over 12 weeks you will learn to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long‑term care facility, with hands‑on and computer based training.

As you progress, you will develop leadership skills, ensure compliance with policies and state/federal requirements, and prepare to manage environmental services projects within the healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
