Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee support services operations, coordinate frontline staff, and serve as a liaison between administration and departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and review standards and work procedures annually.
• Plan staffing and work schedules to ensure adequate service.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and training new staff.
• Orient and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conduct inspections and recommend improvements.
• Report on goals and future plans monthly.
• Provide staff education and ongoing training.
• Communicate with staff, administration, and departments.
• Coordinate outside services such as pest control, waste management, and recycling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in a high-contact support service role.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a stressful environment.
• Leadership, initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
