As a CNC team lead, you will guide your team by sharing your knowledge and expertise, contributing to our company's reputation by ensuring product excellence through inspection protocols and error detection before products are released.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals with your team.
• Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to ensure consistency and collaborate on design modifications when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize CNC programs and improve machining processes.
• Oversee daily shop operations to meet goals.
• Review and interpret blueprints and programs to ensure proper material use.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Proactively ensure tooling availability to prevent downtime.
• Accept ownership of tasks and seek opportunities to add value.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team of 10+ members
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mathematical skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and improve technical skills
• Experience with CNC setup and troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret blueprints and use measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and manufacturing/order systems
