Job summary

Capital Region Airport Commission is seeking an Environmental Services Manager at Richmond International Airport to lead the Environmental Services department, ensuring a clean, safe and sanitary environment while overseeing operations and staff.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, knowledge of regulatory standards, and the ability to manage budgets, schedule multi-shift operations, and drive continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site position in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in environmental services, custodial/housekeeping or in a related field.
• Must have at least seven (7) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to biohazardous and solid waste management.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and operate all functions of the Environmental Services department to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment.
• Monitor operations and complete EVS quality assessments and action plans.
• Monitor budgets including payroll, supplies, uniforms, contracts, and equipment.
