Job summary

Capital Region Airport seeks a Custodian III to maintain the cleanliness of the Richmond International Airport terminal and related facilities. The role includes supervising Custodians in the absence of a supervisor and coordinating cleaning tasks across multiple buildings.

Requirements include a Virginia driver’s license, a High School diploma, and at least three years of supervisory custodial experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in custodial maintenance of large buildings or facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove trash from inside and outside the Terminal and other buildings.
• Maintain flooring surfaces (ceramic, vinyl, carpet) using cleaning processes.
• Clean ceilings and walls including acoustic tile and metal surfaces.
• Clean and maintain offices, public areas, restrooms, counters and waiting areas.
• Move furniture as needed and inspect work as directed by supervisor.
