Job summary

Vertex Resource Group is hiring a Client Development Associate for Environmental Services in the Houston area. You will identify project leads, track municipal procurements, and engage developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and public agencies to drive commercial growth in North Texas.

You will work with our leadership to cross-sell engineering solutions across geotechnical, environmental, and building envelope services, supporting cross-functional teams and expanding Vertex’s

Qualifications

• Education: post-secondary degree in engineering, environmental science, biology, geology or related field.
• Experience: 3–4 years in business development or technical environmental field with inside sales/client management.
• Ideal: 5–8 years in industry with senior consultant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecological studies and biodiversity evaluations; analyze data and trends.
• Manage multiple ecological projects from planning to reporting; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop conservation plans and ensure regulatory compliance; mentor junior staff.
