Job summary

Vertex Resource Services Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Client Development Associate to drive commercial growth in the North Texas market.

You will identify project leads, track procurements, and build relationships with developers, contractors, architects, and public agencies. Collaborate with technical leaders to cross-sell geotechnical, environmental, ecology, and building envelope services while coordinating bids and expanding Vertex’s local presence through industry events and proactive

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
• 1–4 years of business development or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of North Texas commercial real estate development and municipal procurement.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, coachable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
• 3+ years’ experience growing and managing a client base.
• Ability to travel to meet current and future clients.
• Presentation experience with both small and large groups.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor commercial real estate developments and municipal projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
• Establish and expand relationships with developers, civil engineers, general contractors, architects, and municipal/institutional agencies.
• Promote Vertex’s multidisciplinary consulting offerings across geotechnical, environmental, ecology, and building envelope services.
• Track municipal and private RFPs/RFQs and coordinate bids with practice leaders and the proposal team.
• Cross-sell companion services to expand project value.
• Attend regional industry events to represent Vertex and build a network.
• Maintain CRM contacts and active opportunities.
