Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Chicago is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard engineering tasks, design updates, and project duties under guidance from lead engineers. You will assist with data entry, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations, with involvement in Environmental Services projects and other market segments.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
Active involvement in campus or community activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
Assist with responses to general questions.
Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
Present solutions to concerns and research project solutions.
Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
