Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to support environmental compliance tasks and field efforts from Anchorage, AK, Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, or Grand Junction, CO. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations, with field site supervision as needed.

The role emphasizes preparing permits and regulatory reporting, along with mentoring junior staff and contributing to a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or another engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of environmental projects or environmental analytical laboratory experience.
• Must meet ADEC’s definition of a Qualified Professional.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to pass drug/background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Support data collection, site evaluation, and objective-driven data analysis.
• Provide written project documentation and technical guidance to staff.
• Review permits, plans, reports, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide field support and supervise field activities as needed.
