Job summary

King & George, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health / Safety Management Specialist to develop, manage, and report on quality and safety programs and to host safety education events for employees.

The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, leads safety committee meetings, and supports site leadership through training, inspections, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• CSP or similar certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of related EHS experience.
• Working knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate safety training programs and weekly safety meetings.
• Perform safety surveys and inspections, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Conduct environmental surveys, prepare written reports, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents and identify root causes.
• Assist managers in documenting safety violations, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Oversee hazardous conditions and ensure compliance with safety rules.
