Qualifications

• Experience with Virginia and/or NC environmental regulations, permitting, and licensing in the utility sector (electric transmission/generation).
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve regulatory issues with safety and quality focus.
• Excellent communication and coordination with state/federal agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify project-specific environmental regulatory requirements.
• Draft and summarize regulatory assessments and documentation.
• Coordinate state, federal, and local approvals and prepare permit submittals.
• Prepare environmental permit applications and coordinate agency comment responses.
• Write and review technical reports and permit-related documents.
• Coordinate, review, and edit technical documents (CPCN applications, etc.).
• Support public outreach and attend public meetings as needed.
• Manage project tasks and budgets; onboard sub-consultants.
