Responsibilities

• Develop environmental permitting strategy and regulatory strategy for a variety of projects in Virginia and the broader Mid-Atlantic US.
• Direct the development of permit applications including Special Use Permits, Section 404/401, and state permits.
• Support NEPA compliance strategy and preparation of documentation for federal projects and state environmental reviews.
• Direct the preparation of technical reports for agencies such as USACE, USFWS, VDEQ, VMRC, FHWA, EPA, and others.
• Coordinate wetland delineations, water determinations, species, land use mapping and related field work.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of environmental deliverables.
• Coordinate Environmental Compliance Monitoring inspections and record keeping.
• Partner with integrated environmental/engineering/ecology teams to ensure project execution consistency.
• Support HSSE policies and collaborate with HSSE professionals during project planning and implementation.
