Job summary

Clean Earth, now part of Veolia, seeks a Receiving Supervisor to lead inbound waste operations, ensure accurate entry into inventory systems, and coordinate with plant management for safe handling and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes team leadership, training, and adherence to DoT and RCRA standards in a fast-paced facility.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in environmental waste management, 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and a bachelor’s in an environmental field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 40-hour HAZWOPER training completed and current or ability to obtain.
• 2+ years of progressive environmental/hazardous waste management experience in an operations capacity.
• Experience with RCRA and DoT regulations preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and promote safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound waste from service centers and other waste sources, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
• Provide insights on waste entering inventory that requires lab testing.
• Maintain documentation and manifests for waste entering facility per State and Federal requirements.
• Coordinate with Plant management to ensure safe, proper, and consistent handling of inbound waste.
• Offer expertise on outbound shipping strategies and methods, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Review Weekly and Monthly Production summaries and stay updated on regulatory standards.
