Job summary

Clean Earth, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee operations at the service center, coordinating shipping, receiving, and service center logistics. You will ensure DOT compliance, manage inventory, and guide a team to meet daily goals.

The role requires leadership, experience with transportation software, and knowledge of hazardous waste management; a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of admin/office management experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with transportation management software and DOT regulations.
• Experience using Salesforce, Preview, SPAK, and Steriwise.
• CORE and IDP experience is a plus.
• Hazardous waste management experience is preferred.
• Understanding of the waste management industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving to ensure compliant, timely operations.
• Oversee inventory management and office supply orders with PPE approvals.
• Review driver logs for DOT hours and compliance; notify managers of violations.
• Compile daily reports from load sheets for accurate warehouse inventory.
• Manage logs and reports to support operational decisions and efficiency.
• Maintain electronic/paper files, rosters, and contact lists; distribute mail.
• Provide coaching and performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Participate in recruitment and hiring of shipping/receiving staff.
• Stay updated on safety, security, and regulatory changes within region.
