Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental consulting projects in Savannah, GA. This role covers planning, staffing, technical delivery, and client communication to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, staff mentoring, and business development support, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance across asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
• PE or PG preferred; licensure may be required depending on work performed
• Strong knowledge of environmental principles and regulations
• Strong project management and consulting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from initiation through completion
• Coordinate scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
• Mentor junior staff and support team development
• Attend project meetings and provide solutions to technical and administrative issues
• Maintain regular communication with clients and develop client relationships
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and change orders
