Job summary

AECOM Environmental Project Manager in Germantown, MD leads investigation and remediation projects with a focus on firm-fixed-price and CPFF contracts for US Federal clients. Hybrid telecommute/in-office role requiring strong communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant project management experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must pass a state and federal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Obtain AECOM Project Management Certification within one year of onboarding.
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategies and plans.
• Serve as primary client point of contact on multiple projects.
• Provide overall project management and policy guidance to projects.
• Support federal proposals including technical approach and costing.
• Direct and guide subordinate managers and ensure design, budget and schedule adherence.
• Work independently with some supervisory approval on plans and problems.
• Engage subject matter experts as needed and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Potentially supervise junior engineers and project staff.
