Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects from our Providence, Rhode Island office on a hybrid basis (approx. 3 days in office per week).

The role requires a BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, US citizenship or permanent residency, and ability to obtain necessary clearances. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with +4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Sponsorship for this role will not be available at this time or in the future
• Candidate must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Federal environmental remediation projects, working from Providence, RI on a hybrid basis (3 days in office on average)
• Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
• Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects
• Lead teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems using existing technologies and past experience
• Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Analyze financial statements and track budgets
• Provide periodic reporting to area manager and oversee work plans and project studies
• Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
• Prepare reviews and provide staff feedback for continual improvement
• Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
