Environmental Project Manager – Tampa, Florida

What are we looking for?

The Environmental Project Manager will manage and perform environmental consulting projects, including FDEP ATC Petroleum and Drycleaner Programs, as well as Phase I, II, and III assessments for private and public clients. The role requires approximately 15% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform environmental site assessments (ASTM Phase I, II, III), FDEP ATC Petroleum, Drycleaner Program projects, UST, and LUST projects
• Plan and execute soil gas and vapor intrusion investigations, remedial actions, and construction projects
• Author and review technical reports and proposals
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, team members, and regulators
• Manage project budgets and build client relationships

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience managing projects within the FDEP ATC Petroleum Program
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
• Detail-oriented team player with excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and field/office equipment
• Knowledge of environmental remediation systems and engineering calculations
• Strong knowledge of FDEP SOPs for soil, groundwater, and surface water activities
• Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, and environmental due diligence projects, including ASTM-based Phase I/II assessments
• Experience developing health and safety plans
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Geologist (P.G.), Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
