Weston is seeking a Senior Project Manager who will lead complex environmental projects or programs for industrial and government clients. This role involves engaging stakeholders to build trust, align expectations, and foster strong relationships. The successful candidate will assist with business development, growth of existing accounts, client management, and internal team development. A working knowledge of environmental regulations in NH and other New England states is required.

Location: Remote; preferred in New Hampshire or within the New England States

Expected Outcomes:

1. Manage and grow environmental projects/programs, often with multiple concurrent assignments, diverse scopes, multidisciplinary teams, and subcontractors.
2. Manage project teams by clearly communicating expectations regarding requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
3. Identify and assign technical resources, encouraging their development and empowerment.
4. Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship.
5. Set objectives and expectations for technical team members.
6. Maintain open and effective communication with internal resources and client representatives.
7. Manage and communicate project changes with clients and teams.
8. Provide consistent leadership and project management.
9. Ensure quality and safety standards are met, aiming for zero accidents.
10. Assist with client account management, business development, and proposal efforts, including costing and profitability analysis.
11. Understand and articulate project scope based on RFPs or contracts.
12. Proactively identify project issues and develop corrective actions.
13. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
14. Comply with Weston’s operating protocols, ethics, and procurement requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental engineering, geology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental assessment, investigations, consulting, or remediation.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in environmental consulting.
• At least 5 years of business development and client account growth experience.
• Massachusetts LSP certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and regulatory agency interface.
• Ability to develop, negotiate, and lead regulatory and closure strategies.
• Experience leading technically complex projects.
• Ability to build trust and establish relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong scope, schedule, and budget management skills.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.), Professional Geologist (P.G.), LSP, or similar registration (preferred).
• Experience with environmental projects and programs.

Salary Range: $96,500 - $128,900 - $161,000
