Senior Environmental Project Manager

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be part of the Environmental team within the Energy Services Sector, based in Houston, Florida, or Remotely.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Manage environmental permitting, regulatory strategy development, environmental field surveys, and construction compliance for various energy-related projects, including pipelines, tank terminals, and downstream facilities.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain environmental policy and procedures manuals for compliance throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage and prepare permit applications for agencies such as FERC, EPA, USACE, USFWS, SHPO, and local authorities.
• Oversee firms conducting environmental surveys, land use mapping, and report preparation with USACE, USFWS, and other agencies.
• Ensure documents comply with NEPA and FERC guidelines.
• Prepare biological assessments for Section 7 ESA consultations.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for client contracts.

What Your Experience Looks Like

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience in permitting and environmental consulting for oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulations from FERC, EPA, USACE, USFWS, and other agencies.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong project planning, development, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with advanced technical writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain effective relationships.
