Position: Senior Project Manager

Weston is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects or programs for Industrial and Government clients. This role involves stakeholder engagement to build trust and align expectations. The successful candidate will assist with business development, grow existing accounts, manage clients, and develop internal teams. A working knowledge of environmental regulations in NH and the New England states is required.

Location:

Remote; preferred in New Hampshire or within the New England States

Expected Outcomes:

1. Manage and grow environmental projects/programs with multiple ongoing assignments, diverse scopes, multidisciplinary teams, and subcontractors.
2. Manage project teams by clearly communicating requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
3. Identify and assign technical resources, encouraging their development.
4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
5. Set objectives and expectations for team members.
6. Maintain open communication with internal resources and clients.
7. Manage project changes effectively.
8. Lead team and project management efforts, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
9. Assist with business development, including proposal efforts and profitability analysis.
10. Understand and articulate project scope based on RFPs or contracts.
11. Proactively identify issues and develop corrective actions.
12. Ensure timely invoicing and payments.
13. Adhere to Weston’s operating protocols, ethics, and purchasing requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental engineering, geology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental assessment, investigations, consulting, and remediation.
• 5+ years of project management experience in environmental consulting.
• 5+ years in business development and client account growth.
• Massachusetts LSP certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and regulatory agency interface.
• Ability to develop and lead regulatory and closure strategies.
• Experience leading technically complex projects.
• Ability to foster trust and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong scope, schedule, and budget management skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), LSP, or similar registration (preferred).
• Experience with environmental projects and programs.
