Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer (EDP) to join our Green Bay, WI team. This role is an entry point into GP's Engineering Development Program for early-career civil and environmental engineers.

You will work alongside experienced project managers on environmental infrastructure to keep facilities running and compliant, with ownership of smaller projects and support for larger ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) to track and communicate project information.
• Must work onsite at a manufacturing facility and in active construction areas, including occasional travel to other GP sites.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with development of project scope, budget, schedule, risk identification, and permitting plans.
• Manage action registers and track schedule and budget performance against the approved baseline.
• Provide onsite construction support, including contractor coordination, field verification, and safety and quality observations.
• Lead project management of small projects using GP's Business Process for Projects.
