Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer (EDP) to join our Green Bay, WI team. This entry point into the Engineering Development Program focuses on civil and environmental engineering for environmental infrastructure that keeps facilities compliant and running.

You will support project managers, own smaller projects, and gradually take on larger capital environmental initiatives. As you progress, you gain hands-on project management experience, exposure to permitting, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Experience using Microsoft Office to track project information.
Must work onsite at a manufacturing facility and in active construction areas.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist the project manager with development of project scope, budget, schedule, risk identification, and permitting plans.
Manage action registers and track schedule and budget performance against the approved baseline.
Provide onsite construction support, including contractor coordination, field verification, and safety and quality observations.
Lead project management of small projects using GP's Business Process for Projects.
