Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting
• 0 years of related experience
• Must have a valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary
• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and applications
• Basic knowledge of permitting processes, regulations and test methods
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn, take direction and develop professionally
• Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work outdoors and handle field conditions
• Ability to lift and carry field equipment (~40 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Interacts and collaborates with staff on environmental projects
• Attends project meetings with senior staff and participates in discussions
• Interfaces with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities
• Communicates daily with project teams and keeps supervisors informed of site conditions
• Implements field tasks and project activities as directed by senior staff
• Assists with scheduling, training, and oversight of environmental technicians
• Supports project setup and implementation under supervision
• Collects, documents, and reports field observations accurately
• Assists with environmental sampling, data collection, and analysis
• Supports preparation of reports, calculations, and project documentation
• Participates in project coordination, tracking tasks and deliverables
• Assists with proposal preparation and project planning
• Performs additional technical and project support duties as assigned
• Assists with natural resources field data collection and mapping
• Uses GPS and assists with map generation under supervision
