Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking an Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager I to support environmental consulting projects through fieldwork, data collection, and project coordination. Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant science or engineering field is required or strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of related environmental experience.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver's license is required.
• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff on environmental projects and attend project meetings.
• Interface with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities.
• Communicate daily with project teams and report site conditions to supervisors.
• Assist with field tasks, data collection, and analysis under supervision.
• Help coordinate scheduling, training, and oversight of technicians.
• Support project setup, reporting, and documentation.
• Contribute to environmental sampling and data collection activities.
• Assist with proposal preparation and project planning tasks.
• Support groundwater, soil, and media sampling investigations.
