Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager I to support environmental consulting projects in Frederick, MD. You will engage in fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and project coordination under supervision to develop early project management skills while upholding ECS Core Values.

Responsibilities include field task implementation, attendance at project meetings, interface with contractors and clients, and reporting site observations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/environmental disciplines or geology, etc.

• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and permitting processes

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff on a variety of environmental projects
• Attends project meetings with senior staff and participates in discussions
• Interfaces with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities
• Communicates daily with project teams and reports site conditions
• Implements field tasks and project activities under supervision
• Assists with scheduling and oversight of environmental technicians
• Supports project setup and documentation
• Collects, documents, and reports field observations accurately
• Assists with environmental sampling, data collection, and analysis
• Supports preparation of reports, calculations, and project documentation
• Participates in project coordination, tracking tasks and deliverables
• Assists with proposal preparation and planning activities
• Performs additional technical and project support duties as assigned
• Assists with wetland and natural resource projects and data collection
