Job summary

talisman Environmental leads the environmental practice with a mission to grow and expand services nationwide. You will work with senior leadership to guide strategy, mentor scientists and project managers, and oversee complex environmental projects and client relationships across multiple markets.

This role offers ownership, influence, and opportunities to build teams, nurture client engagement, and lead high-impact proposals while staying technically involved.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of NEPA, environmental permitting, regulatory strategy, or environmental compliance.
• Experience managing complex projects, programs, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow environmental projects, programs, and client relationships.
• Mentor environmental scientists, planners, permitting specialists, and project managers.
• Oversee complex environmental planning, permitting, natural resources, and compliance projects.
• Support clients across energy, utilities, transportation, infrastructure, industrial, and development markets.
• Build and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand environmental services into new markets and geographies.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and infrastructure teams across the organization.
• Lead major proposals, pursuits, and strategic client initiatives.
• Recruit and develop future environmental leaders.
• Help shape the long-term strategy and direction of the environmental practice.
