Talisman is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Environmental Consulting Services in Houston and drive regional growth. This high-autonomy role requires leadership across services, P&L accountability, client relationship management, and a scalable regional strategy.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in environmental consulting with permitting, compliance, or engineering experience, plus an established book of business and strong leadership skills. Linked opportunities exist in other offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental field.
• 15+ years in environmental consulting or related services.
• Proven success in leading operations and P&L.
• Strong leadership and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead Houston operations, including office performance and staffing.
• Manage and optimize P&L, revenue, budgets, and profitability across service lines.
• Develop and execute local and regional growth strategies.
• Build and maintain senior-level client relationships to expand accounts.
• Leverage network to drive revenue growth.
• Recruit, develop and retain environmental professionals and build a local team.
• Provide technical leadership across permitting, compliance and engineering.
• Align resources with service lines and leadership for growth.
