Job summary

Stantec’s Southern California team seeks a Deputy Project Manager with planning experience to join our Environmental Services Practice working within our power utility sector.

The successful candidate will work in a team environment and will be responsible for general project management support (scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, document control), managing tasks and/or projects, leading the development of technical documents, and coordinating and/or leading

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of project or program management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary program or project schedules, budgets, staff, and scopes to completion.
• Develop workflow processes and communication plans for programs/projects.
• Identify client needs and initiatives to address delivery risks and challenges.
• Provide planning and permitting support for electrical transmission projects.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technical documents and regulatory deliverables.
